In Madrid, Toledo, and Granada, I've attempted to capture the beauty and culture of the place with my photos -- which while fairly normal, some of them are pretty darn good. I have one major problem though – my camera. For the past several months, my camara’s pictures have been getting increasingly fuzzy, no matter what I do or what setting their on. At first I thought the lens might just be dirty, but I cleaned it to perfection and it still looks fuzzy. As a girl with some significant photo-taking experience (thanks yearbook), it’s driving me crazy!!! I might have to stop taking photos altogether. Which is hard, because when I see a beautiful angle I want a picture…*sigh*. I have no idea how to fix it. I think the inside of my lens might have gotten condensation on it once and needs to be cleaned to, but I don't know how to take apart a camera. Or maybe it's just been abused enough that something's misaligned? Or maybe my several-year-old relatively-cheap camera is just completely outclased by the new ones? I don't know the problem, I just know I'm going crazy. It worked perfectly in London last summer! Would my parents mail me a better camera if I asked? Does my family even have one they could lend me?

Sorry about the camera!
The original plan had been for us to buy a new digital still/video camera after Jon presented me with a baby girl. Sadly, that didn't work out, so we don't have an old one to give you. :(
Buy lots of postcards? But I totally sympathize. There's something about a photograph you take yourself that makes a memory.
