I have nothing to report tonight except a rapidly growing adoration of David Archuleta (and I don't feel guilty about it, because he's Mormon!) For awesome pre-American Idol appearances, visit youtube. My favorite? Him singing "O Holy Night" at a Christmas dinner. Now, it still doesn't top the O Holy Night quartet we traditionally have for stake choir...but for a modern solo artist, it's downright awesome. His performance Tuesday night, of course, was also amazing -- particularly for this early on in American Idol.
Oh, also, everyone should watch Jeopardy! tomorrow night. It's the last day of the teen tournament, and an acquaintance from my high school quiz bowl team is in the finals day, vying for 1st place!
I enjoyed tonight's debate. I liked how the crowd booed Hillary Clinton for brining up those inane plagiarism charges. But probably the best thing I saw was just how clearly Obama was trying to establish himself as a substantive policy guru. Personally, I think it succeeded. In no way did I feel Clinton with all her "experience" outmatched him.
As happy as I am to analyze the Democratic situation, though, Indiana doesn't vote until mid-May, so for all my blogging and conversation, my voice at this point matters little. In this season of the late winter, I think my democratic tendencies will be best applied in another arena --Voting for David Archuleta!

Carolyn,
Is it the Cook girl from high school that is a finalist? Just curious.
